Working with the design team at Perform Group, I defined and documented our ideal product design process. This is the process we use to launch and continually improve our products across the company. We’ve created a range of products across the sports media landscape successfully applying this process for brands…such as Goal, Sporting News, Voetbalzone, and more.

I set myself the challenge to try solve 10 problems in 10 evenings after my day job. I did this to help me improve my prototyping skills, improve my problem solving, speed of execution and get more confident at sharing my work online! The challenge taught me a lot. Relaunching a Sports Website — Starting with the User
I want to share the research process I went through on my most recent project. I work within the in-house experience design department at Perform Group. I am the lead UX Designer on a team which is currently re-designing one of the companies news websites, which focuses on American sports. The project will see us re-invent the brand and launch a new responsive site. We’ve recently completed the first key milestone for the project which set the fundamental research for the project. I wanted to share my journey so far.

Always make sure you promote the story behind your design, make sure you get noticed for all your hard work. In the wake of the new Instagram brand identity released last week which received a mix response, I felt this was a fitting topic to discuss — dismissing designs at face value.
